TPFF WA Designer Installation: Fashun, Freebies and Subtle Stalking

Anyone who knows Mazz and I know that we're pretty simply gals. What we lack in fashion/beauty/general life skills, we make up for in enthusiasm and we are easily impressed by people more skilled than us. Keeping that in mind, when I scored some VIP tickets to the WA Designer Installation at the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival last night, she was obviously the perfect date.

We were picked up in style by our own personal driver using the Uber app and promptly dropped off at the Perth Concert Hall for some complimentary bevvies and canapes before the show. We spent most of this time visiting the bar and trying to work out how one eats a freshly shucked oyster gracefully. We refused them every time because SURELY it isn't possible but apparently it is, judging by the beautiful people milling around, daintily eating them without even smudging their lipstick. Mazz also kept glancing over my shoulder, trying to grab a cheeky glimpse of the male models aka sticking with her type of skinny white boys! Time well spent!

By the time we had chitchatted and checked out every outfit in the room, it was time for the show. We were upgraded to first row (YAY!) and settled in comfortably with our goodie bags to enjoy what the talented WA designers had to offer.

There were so many stand outs but the favourite for me was Tindale Designs with the beautiful drapery - stunning! I also loved the bold, bright prints of Emily Muco and the fringe details of Katherine Dunmill.
