I'm baaaack!

Hi, my name is Lucy and it has been a month since my last post...

Yes, I have been on hiatus - and I use that word lightly because obviously I've just been a slack blogger/couldn't work out how to use my phone to post/had no wifi at home STILL/was out of range. But hey, I've been having a great time on my break so don't hate me please (Brooke, Mazz, Anh!) because I am back for another year of more disciplined blogging, I promise.

Here are my top five highlights from the break.

1. A country Christmas. Harms and Tim brought the boys over from Cairns to spend Christmas all together at my parents place in Carnamah (apart from Alice and the kids in Adelaide, we usually don't get to see them at Christmas and plus, Alice was very pregnant and had a beautiful baby girl named Grace Geraldine last Thursday!).

Playing with the boys by day and bush walks, word games and trifle making sessions by night made it into a great, relaxing Christmas.

The look on Owen's face when he unwrapped his presents was the most beautiful thing but I realised he was growing up too fast when he unwrapped my present. "This is just what I was expecting!" he said. Yep, books again, O. He's going to be a bookworm if I have anything to say about it!
Owen's favourite present was NOT mine, but this cute train set from grandma and grandpa
So much food was had - how do you say no when it looks this good?
Walks through the town
Handstand competitions

2. Our girls Christmas party - yes it was a while ago but we had the best time hanging by the pool, taking tours of Courts' pad and eating SO MUCH FOOD! Plus, I made a pav for the first time and it went down a treat.
Ripped Annie

3. New Years Eve with Steve, Brooke and Hanbel at Jamie's Mexican party. Whilst we shall not speak of how much food we consumed in a 12 hour period on that fateful night, the amount of fun we had dancing, singing and failing at beer pong cannot be ignored.
Just a little nap to bring in the new year

4. Becoming a bridesmaid for Teleisha and Cam's wedding in February 2016! She surprised me thoroughly with the news but I'm so happy to be a part of it. I just can't wait to organise the Harry Potter Meets Tequila themed Hens Party with Linley - we just know she's going to love it (HAHA, jokes Teleish, don't freak!)

5. Spending some quality time with Shteve. He had all of December off but was busy, busy doing his study so it was nice to just hang out when we both had a break over Christmas. We went for long walks to track down some of the best falafels around (more to come) and road tripped around the place, so thank god we actually enjoy each other's company.
Here's to a happy and even crazier 2015!

xx Luce
